Kyparissia is a modern city and an agricultural and commercial center of the province Trifylia.
With a developed tourist infrastructure, interesting sights and wonderful beaches, attracts many tourists especially during the summer months. But all time of the year Kiparissia has a big number of tourists and locals alike.
The area is home to the longest continuous sandy beach in the country, which starts north of the village of Kalo Nero, and continues north for 53 km. It stops nowhere, except through the rivers that end up in the sea. Near Kyparissia, the beaches of Agiannaki and Elaia are distinguished, with crystal clear waters, beautiful scenery and very easy access.
It is a place of amazing beauty and natural landscapes.In Kyparissia were found tombs placed in Classical and Roman times, while on top of a small hill dominates a Venetian castle.

Kyparissia is a beautiful seaside town, located in the western part of the prefecture of Messinia. It is located 70 km from the capital of the prefecture, Kalamata and the trip takes around 1 hour.
